These aren't just pretty renderings - they're real spaces where people actually work, gather, and thrive. Each project taught us something new about pushing the boundaries of what sustainable commercial architecture can be.
Vancouver, BC | Completed 2023
Six-story tech office that honestly changed how we think about natural ventilation in our climate. The building basically breathes on its own for 8 months of the year - no AC needed. Local cedar rain screen, triple-glazed everything, and a rooftop that's half solar panels, half actual garden.
Vancouver, BC | 2022
Retail pavilion that proves sustainable doesn't mean boring. Lots of reclaimed timber, giant south-facing glass that cuts heating costs by 60%, and a solar canopy that powers the whole complex plus feeds back to the grid.
Gastown, Vancouver | 2023
Turning a 1912 warehouse into modern office space while keeping its soul intact? That was the challenge. We kept every brick wall and timber beam we could, added super-insulated new elements, and created this awesome blend of old meets new.
North Vancouver, BC | Opening 2024
Our most ambitious project yet - mixed-use with retail on ground level, offices above, and residential on top. The whole thing's oriented to catch every bit of passive solar we can get, with a geothermal system that shares heating/cooling between all three uses. Super efficient when you think about it - offices need cooling during the day while residences need heating, and vice versa at night.
Richmond, BC | 2022
Mid-rise office where we got to experiment with automated facade shading that responds to sun position. Sounds fancy, but it's basically smart blinds taken to the next level - cuts cooling loads by almost half.
Yaletown, Vancouver | 2021
Street-level retail that maximizes daylight without turning into a greenhouse. Deep overhangs, strategic glazing, and tons of natural ventilation make it comfortable year-round without cranking the HVAC.
Burnaby, BC | Completed 2021
This one was all about creating flexible office space that could adapt as companies grow and change. Modular interior systems, raised floors for easy service access, and a facade that's like 40% solar panels integrated right into the curtain wall. The building actually generates about 30% of its own power, which isn't bad for our cloudy climate.
Vancouver, BC | 2023
Old industrial building transformed into creative workspace and retail. We stripped it back to the structure, beefed up the insulation like crazy, and added a full solar array up top. It's got this great raw-industrial vibe but performs like a brand new building.
We're always excited to take on new challenges. Whether you're planning a ground-up build or breathing new life into an existing structure, let's talk about how we can make it sustainable, functional, and honestly just better.
